Barpianist Michael Fischer

I was born into a family of musicians. From the Vienna Boys' Choir my path led to the Conservatory of the City of Vienna. After dance training with Karl Musil, I began studying jazz piano with Michael Starch. But my great passion I found above all in tap dancing. After engagements either as a dream dancer or as a bar pianist, the desire arose in me to combine both professions, to turn the stage into a time machine and to take the audience back to the golden age of entertainment with wit, charm and spontaneity.

The Bling-Blings

"The Bling-Blings" are a live band that celebrates the diversity of musical styles and uses it to find the perfect mix of music for every generation.
The band consists of six professional musicians, with the lead singer and all the instrumentalists making great use of their microphones. This polyphony creates a full sound and the different lead voices allow for a great variety of repertoire. This is enormously appreciated by the audience, as the programme is so varied and can also be spontaneously adapted to the respective wishes of the cross-generational audience.
With a well-balanced selection of music from the field of standard dances and Latin American dances, every couple dancer gets his or her money's worth. Of course, if the mood is right, there will also be plenty of party hits on the playlist and so "The Bling-Blings" will make the ballroom shake with a perfect mix of pop and rock classics, cool soul and funk songs, right up to current radio charts.
In all this, of course, the joy of making music and of the music itself must not be missing, with which the band wants to infect and carry away all the dancing and listening people in the room.
You can get a small impression on the homepage (www.theblingblings.at) and the real impression of course at the next live event with "The Bling-Blings".

Mastaire's Viennese Ladies' Band

Following the tradition of the legendary ladies' band that once performed at the Eisvogel in the Prater, Lidia and Fred Mastaire founded Mastaire's Wiener Damenkapelle in the 1970s. In the splendid historical white costumes with blue ribbon, a trademark once as today, they cherish and maintain the tradition of dance and light music of the Strauss dynasty and their contemporaries.

While "Tschinellen Fifi" on the drums and "Franzi" as a stand-up violinist were once the proponents of the historical model, Gabriele Fußgänger now leads an ensemble of first-class musicians who continue to inspire guests with traditional waltz music. Of course, polkas, marches and some standard dances are also part of her repertoire.

Mastaire's Viennese Ladies' Band has been a guarantor of musical entertainment in changing formations for more than 50 years and has travelled the globe as ambassadors of Viennese tradition. Embassy receptions and balls from Vienna and New Orleans to Seoul and Japan are among their references, as are many company celebrations and incentives.

Mastaire's Wiener Damenkapelle - the tradition lives on.
